My client for this project, Katrina Wong, is an experienced beautician embarking on her first venture as a beauty studio owner. Given her limited budget, she expressed a desire to create a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. To achieve this, I recommended dividing the elongated space into two areas. By utilizing existing cabinets and creating an unobtrusive divider, natural light can continue to flow throughout the space.

Additionally, I suggested a separate area for nail services. As per Katrina’s request, the overall design was crafted to avoid an overly feminine appearance. The soft grey color chosen for the walls complements the existing furniture and white window frames while providing a neutral backdrop. To add some character, I incorporated vibrant purple-pink cushions and accessories, which create a delightful contrast against the soft grey.
